We're looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Business Lecturer to join our team on a part-time basis. With just 7.5 hours per week, this role is ideal for someone currently working in industry, running their own business, consulting, or seeking a flexible teaching opportunity alongside other commitments.

Whether your background is in management, marketing, HR, operations, finance, entrepreneurship or business development, we'd love to hear from you.

Teaching experience is welcome but not essential. If you have strong industry experience and a passion for developing others, we can support you in gaining a teaching qualification.

About the Role

You'll teach and inspire learners across a range of Business programmes for A level, helping students develop the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to progress into employment, apprenticeships or higher education.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering engaging and relevant Business lessons
Bringing real-world industry knowledge into the classroom
Supporting students to achieve their full potential
Assessing learner work and providing constructive feedback
Creating individual learning targets and monitoring progress
Contributing to curriculum development and quality improvement
Supporting student recruitment activities and open events
Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an outstanding learner experience

What We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in candidates who have:

Recent and relevant experience working within a business environment
A degree, professional qualification or significant industry experience in a business-related field
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to engage and motivate young people
Strong organisational and planning skills
A passion for developing future talent

Previous teaching experience is desirable but not essential.

A recognised teaching qualification is welcomed; however, candidates with relevant business experience who are willing to work towards a teaching qualification are encouraged to apply. Full support will be provided to achieve this.
