Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Applicants should have relevant nursery experience and a strong commitment to early childhood education.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times in accordance with safeguarding policies
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
Support children's individual needs, including behavioural management and personalised care plans
Assist in organising daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play
Lead by example in promoting good behaviour and social skills among children
Collaborate with team members to develop innovative educational programmes
Contribute to the organisation of staff rotas and management tasks as required
Drive organisational initiatives that enhance the quality of childcare services

Skills

Proven experience in childcare or nursery settings, with a strong understanding of early childhood education principles
Demonstrated management and leadership capabilities within a childcare environment
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to work effectively with children, fostering their development through engaging activities
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
Childcare qualifications recognised within the UK (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification) or equivalent
A caring nature combined with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children
