Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Part-time Waitress to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and memorable dining experience. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals passionate about food service and customer care, with opportunities to develop culinary and hospitality skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, dining areas, and service stations
Handle payments accurately using the POS system, providing correct change when necessary
Assist in food preparation or kitchen duties as required, adhering to food safety standards
Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to requests or concerns
Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including proper food handling procedures

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are advantageous
Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Ability to work well within a team and independently when needed
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as required
A genuine passion for guest services and creating positive dining experiences
