Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Full-Time Hotel Receptionist to join our welcoming team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanour, and a strong understanding of hospitality standards. Fluency in multiple languages is desirable to assist our diverse clientele. The successful applicant will contribute to creating a positive atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy, adhering to excellent phone etiquette.
Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately using the hotel management system.
Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience.
Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of guest details and billing information.
Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure rooms are prepared and guest needs are met seamlessly.
Uphold high standards of hospitality, demonstrating friendliness, patience, and attentiveness at all times.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hotel reception or customer service within the hospitality industry is a must.
Excellent communication skills with a professional phone manner.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and guest records.
Knowledge of Opera cloud hotel management software is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
A friendly personality with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest service.
