Full job description

SPC Europe, based in Westbury is a growing dynamic manufacturing company, producing rubber compounds within the UK for specialised applications throughout the globe. We are renowned for exceptional quality and customer service. Our process lines are equipped with state-of-the-art machineries and excellent standard of cleanliness.

We are looking for Process Operators in our flagship plant in Westbury, Wiltshire.

Work pattern -

48 hours per week over 4 Days (Mon-Thu), 12-hour shifts, 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am, on weekly rotation.

The role -

· Working in a production environment as part of a team

· Producing rubber compounds

· Material preparation

· Operating manufacturing equipment

· Opportunity to multi-skill.

· Progressive training packages.

Requirements -

· Reliability and good time-keeping

· Experience working in a manufacturing environment

· Experience working long shifts

· Physical and mental strength

· Self-motivated and good team-player

· Fork lift trained would be an advantage but not essential (training will be given)

Holidays -

20 days + Bank holidays if they fall on a day you normally work.

Fixed Holidays: you will be required to take annual leave during company shutdowns, currently, 1 week (3 days) in April and 1 week (4 days) in August and Christmas (7 days); this may vary from one year to the other.

Salary; starting at £13.10 per hour (night hours enhance of £5.26 p.h.), going up to £14.19 p.h. (night hours enhance of £5.94) when probation passed.

Supplemental pay types:

Over time -

From 48 hours to 55 hours per week = x1.5 basic rate
Anything over 55 hours = x2 basic rate

Quarterly Bonus
