Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and looking to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Serve drinks and food efficiently and courteously to customers at the bar and tables
Take orders accurately and process payments using the till system
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
Engage with customers to create a friendly and welcoming environment
Assist in setting up for events or busy periods, including preparing garnishes and organising stock
Handle customer queries or complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous
Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks during busy periods
Good organisational skills to keep the bar area tidy and well-stocked
Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or specialised shifts as required
