Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team at Fun Foundations Day Nursery in Bridgend in September 2026. In this vital role, you will support the management team in delivering high-quality childcare services and ensuring smooth daily operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while working in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities

Assist the Nursery Manager in overseeing daily operations and staff management.
Support the implementation of educational programs and activities tailored to children's developmental needs.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.
Contribute to maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Support staff training and professional development initiatives.
Monitor and support the wellbeing of children in your care.
Assist with administrative duties related to nursery operations.
Qualifications
Proven experience in childcare management or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of child development principles.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., Level 3 Childcare Qualification or higher).
First aid certification is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
