Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring guests enjoy their experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic restaurant environment, where attention to detail and efficiency are highly valued.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately while providing knowledgeable recommendations when needed
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
Handle cash and card transactions efficiently, accurately recording sales and giving correct change
Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety protocols are followed
Restock bar supplies as required, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages
Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
Uphold high standards of hospitality by creating a welcoming environment for all patrons

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible serving practices
Excellent hospitality skills with a friendly and approachable manner
Good understanding of basic maths for handling transactions accurately
Ability to manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure prompt service
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous
Personal presentation should be professional and tidy at all times
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to £13.00 per hour
