Assistant General Manager – NQ64 Arcade BarBooze, Beats & Button Bashing

NQ64 first launched in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter and has since grown to 9 venues across the UK. We’re neon-spattered arcade bars serving up iconic retro games, banging hip-hop playlists, and f*%king mad drinks.

We’re all about great vibes, brilliant service, and creating unforgettable nights out.

We’re now seeking an experienced, hands-on Assistant General Manager to join the team in Bristol.

This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, wet-led hospitality environment, leads from the front, and genuinely loves building strong teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the business
Taking ownership of operations and leading the venue in the General Manager’s absence
Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training, and people management
Assisting with stock control, ordering, and cost management across the venue
Helping drive sales and maximise profitability while working within budgeted P&L targets
Managing administrative tasks and ensuring smooth back-of-house operations
Leading by example with a hands-on approach to service and floor management
Maintaining high standards across service, drinks quality, atmosphere, and guest experience

What We’re Looking For
Essential

A genuine, friendly, and hard-working personality
Experience within a wet-led hospitality business at Assistant General Manager, Deputy General Manager level or Senior Duty Manager
Strong leadership skills with the confidence to lead shifts and motivate teams
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Passion for hospitality, people, and delivering incredible service
Comfortable working in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
Must be comfortable working late nights

Desirable

Personal Licence holder
Strong cocktail knowledge and practical bar experience
Interest in hip-hop, gaming, and alternative nightlife culture

The Important Bits

Salary up to £38,000 per year
Achievable uncapped quarterly bonus scheme
Fortnightly pay
We aim for a 44-hour, 4–5 day working week
