Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar/Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for the hospitality industry to demonstrate leadership skills and contribute to a welcoming environment for both guests and team members.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of bar and restaurant staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to uphold quality standards.
Manage team schedules, delegate tasks, and provide training to optimise performance.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across all areas.
Monitor customer satisfaction levels, address complaints promptly, and foster a positive atmosphere.
Enforce health and safety policies, ensuring all staff adhere to procedures at all times.
Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality service, supporting team development.

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong team management and leadership abilities with a focus on motivating staff.
Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards.
Experience in serving customers efficiently while maintaining professionalism.
Knowledge of hospitality principles, including hotel or barista experience is advantageous.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and guests.
Demonstrated ability to uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service quality. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to advance their career within the hospitality sector by leading a dedicated team in delivering memorable guest experiences while maintaining operational excellence.

Pay: £13.50 per hour
