Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals in care homes. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the well-being, comfort, and safety of our service users. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while developing your skills within the healthcare sector.

Duties:

Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, respecting individual dignity and preferences

Support residents with mobility and daily activities to promote independence

Help in the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met

Maintain accurate care plans and document any changes in health or behaviour

Support with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals

Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the wider healthcare team to ensure coordinated care

Skills:

-Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal

-Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and updating care plans

-Experience working within a care home or providing home care is advantageous.

-Organised with excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively

-Ability to work flexibly, demonstrating patience, compassion, and professionalism at all times

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: Up to £13.00 per hour
