Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Builders Labourer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of building projects, supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring smooth site operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience across multiple construction disciplines within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Assist with the preparation and clearing of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up equipment.
Support carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical, and welding tasks as directed by supervisors.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to aid in construction activities.
Assist with fabrication tasks, including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
Help with site safety measures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Carry out general labouring duties such as lifting, moving materials, and cleaning work areas.
Support tradespeople in installing fixtures, fittings, and structural components.
Contribute to maintaining organised storage of tools and materials on-site.

Requirements

Previous experience or training in construction-related trades such as carpentry, roofing, painting, plumbing, masonry, welding or electrical work is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour for extended periods.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team.
Basic understanding of health and safety procedures on construction sites.
Valid UK driving licence is desirable but not mandatory. This role is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills within the construction industry while contributing to diverse projects in a supportive environment. All positions are paid accordingly for the work performed.

Pay: From £100.00 per day
