Job title - Sales Administrator

Location – Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire

Founded in 1981 Frisco UK Sales Limited is one of the UK’s leading distributors of architectural ironmongery and builder’s hardware. Frisco offers an extensive range of products under the Eclipse brand for architectural ironmongers, merchants and wholesalers.

Job Description:

As a Sales Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the sales team by ensuring the efficient processing of customer orders and projects from enquiry to completion. You will be responsible for coordinating administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, and liaising with customers and internal departments to ensure projects run smoothly and deadlines are met. Delivering excellent customer service, responding to enquiries, and supporting the overall sales process will be central to your role.

Key responsibilities:

Carry out general administrative and office duties to support the day-to-day running of the department.
First point of contact to answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
Process customer orders using Sage.
Process customer returns using Sage.
Provide customer quotations, over the phone and via email.
Respond to customer emails.
Use courier systems to arrange parcel and pallet labels.
Work closely with our external sales team and warehouse to ensure efficient operations.
Maintain organised filing systems, both electronic and paper.
Liaise with customers via telephone and email, ensuring clear and timely communication.
Communicate with our purchasing dept, to provide accurate updates to customers.
Manage customer enquiries and resolve issues efficiently while providing a high standard of customer services.

Skills, knowledge and experience required:

· IT knowledge.

· Microsoft – Excel, Word, Outlook experience.

· Sage200 experience preferred but not essential.

· Confident and professional phone manner.

· Good organisation and time management skills.

· Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Experience in a customer service-based role.

· Ability to multitask.

· Ability to work in a team and independently.

Location – Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire

Hours – Full time, Monday – Friday. 8.30 – 17.00.

Annual Leave – 20 days excluding bank holidays

Salary - £28000.00 per annum
