Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waitress/Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a lively and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and beverage service, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred, but full training will be provided to the right candidate. This position is fully paid and suitable for individuals eager to develop their skills within the hospitality industry.

Duties

Welcome guests warmly and take their orders efficiently and accurately
Serve food and beverages in accordance with company standards, ensuring guest satisfaction
Handle cash and card transactions accurately, providing correct change when necessary
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area, including tables, bar, and surrounding spaces
Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while promoting special offers or new products
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations at all times
Assist with food preparation or bar tending duties as required, supporting team members during busy periods
Provide attentive guest services by anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests
Support the organisation of events or special functions as needed

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided for motivated individuals
Knowledge of food safety procedures and basic food preparation techniques is desirable
Familiarity with upselling techniques and guest service principles will be beneficial
Ability to demonstrate excellent time management skills in a busy environment
Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment is a plus but not mandatory
