Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial and healthcare environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that premises are kept in a pristine condition, contributing to a safe and welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors alike. This role offers an opportunity to work within a professional team committed to high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors, surfaces, and fixtures.
Disinfect and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas to meet health and safety regulations.
Empty waste bins and dispose of waste responsibly in designated areas.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any malfunctions or shortages promptly.
Follow health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or contamination.
Ensure all cleaning activities are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required, including deep cleans or specialised sanitation procedures.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
Previous experience working in hospital environments or healthcare settings is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks consistently.
Good organisational skills to prioritise daily duties effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
