We are looking for a skilled and driven Workshop/Service Controller to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our workshop. This role requires a keen problem solver with strong sales skills who can balance the needs of our customers, technicians, and business to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the workshop, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
Manage customer bookings and job scheduling to optimise workflow and meet customer expectations.
Identify opportunities to upsell services, parts, and repairs, always ensuring the best value for customers.
Work closely with technicians to solve problems and provide solutions for complex repairs or technical issues.
Liaise with customers, explaining work required, providing accurate estimates, and ensuring they feel informed and confident in their service.
Monitor workshop performance and implement improvements to meet and exceed KPIs.
Ensure parts and resources are available to minimise delays and maximise productivity.
Maintain accurate records of jobs, parts, and costs using our management systems.
Maintain and grow supplier relations to continue to strive to a right part first time success rate.

Confidence in using technology and management systems to maintain accurate records and schedules.
