Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Upholstery Technician specialising in pool table cushions to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of high-quality cushions, ensuring they meet our standards for durability and aesthetic appeal. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in upholstery, fabricating, or warehouse work to utilise their technical skills in a specialised setting.

Duties

Cutting and shaping fabric to precise specifications for pool table cushions
Using hand tools and power tools to assemble cushion components accurately
Stapling fabric covers with attention to detail, ensuring tight seams and a professional finish
Conducting quality checks on finished cushions to ensure compliance with standards
Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety protocols

Requirements

Mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools and power tools
Proficiency in sewing and fabricating upholstery components
Previous warehouse experience is desirable, particularly involving assembly tasks
Strong attention to detail with organisational skills for managing multiple tasks
Experience working with fabric is essential
Good physical stamina, capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks
