Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Residential Valuation Surveyor to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in property valuation, gain practical experience in residential property assessments, and contribute to a variety of valuation projects. As a Graduate Residential Valuation Surveyor, you will support senior surveyors by conducting property inspections, analyzing data, and preparing valuation reports. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about real estate, eager to build a career in property consultancy, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Assist with the inspection of residential properties to gather accurate data for valuation purposes
Support the preparation of detailed valuation reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy
Conduct analysis of property market trends and comparable sales data to inform valuations
Maintain organized records of property inspections, reports, and client communications
Use IT tools such as Microsoft Excel and specialized valuation software to analyze data and prepare reports
Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, and internal teams to coordinate inspections and clarify project requirements
Support senior surveyors in managing multiple projects efficiently while adhering to deadlines

Qualifications

RICS accredited Degree in Real Estate, Property, Surveying or related discipline
Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret property data and market information accurately
Valid driving license and willingness to travel between properties as required
Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach when engaging with clients and stakeholders
Proficiency in IT applications, especially Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with valuation or property management software is advantageous
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear reporting and client interactions
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
A genuine interest in residential property markets and a proactive attitude towards learning and development
