Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for transforming spaces through colour and design. This role involves ensuring high-quality finishes, and delivering exceptional results that meet client expectations.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes to ensure a smooth finish.
Apply paint, and other decorative finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
Select appropriate materials and tools for each project, ensuring the best quality results.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and finishes.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety regulations at all times.
Drive to job site, ensuring timely arrival and completion of tasks.

Requirements

Proven experience in painting and decorating is essential.
Ability to communicate effectively in English with clients and team members.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
A valid driving licence is preferred for travel to job site.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials is advantageous.
