Full job description

Job Overview

Eurograv Limited is a sales and service supplier to the global print and packaging industry. Based in Bisley, near Woking, Surrey we are in need for an organized back-office champion to take ownership of all our financial administration, bookkeeping, office & HR management requirements.

Working together with the Managing Director, Customer service administrator and our accountancy firm, you will ensure that the financial side of the business is dealt with promptly, professionally and to a extremely high standard. Eurograv prides itself on attentive, quick support and you will embody this work ethic.

Our suppliers are mostly based in Europe and knowledge of the Italian and/or German language would be highly advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

Accounting Role

· BANK LEDGERS – Allocate daily sales ledger receipts, supplier DD and reconcile statements for several bank accounts. Review and transfer funds between accounts as required.

· SUPPLIER LEDGER - Process supplier invoices, against PO input SAGE and process fortnightly/monthly pay-run

· SALES LEDGER – cross check all orders, daily invoices processed from Road Runner system and import to Sage.

· CREDIT CONTROL – Submit monthly statements, follow-up debtors including legal and administration claims

· PAYE – collate and submit to CSL details to process payroll. Arrange payment and submit payslips. JNL to Sage. Submit annual P11Ds.

· CREDIT CARDS – Maintain record system, collate receipts, input and reconcile monthly statements.

· CASH FORECAST – Provide 24-month cash-forecast with real-time information and forecast average sales on spares. Forecast to be presented every month.

· SAGE – Maintain ledger system, posting monthly depreciation and accrual journals, reconciling nominal ledger, bank balances and expenditure accounts.

· FINANCIAL ACCOUNTS & ANALYSIS- Analysis and monitoring of company’s sales performance, expenditure and profits. Month End P&L and B&S provided with monthly Cash forecast. Report any anomalies immediately when discovered.

· HMRC Submissions – Submission of quarterly VAT returns. Maintain PVA transactions and reconcile with HMRC Customs monthly statements.

· YEAR-END ACCOUNTS – Provide CSL accountant with year-end information to check and complete year end accounts.

Administration Role

· OFFICE ADMINSTRATION – Provide admin support to Directors and Logistics Team when required, will include processing spare parts orders and assisting customer service team in their absence, such as dealing with shippers, suppliers, and clients.

· HR – Maintain employee records i.e. personal files, holidays, sickness, pension schemes (private and NEST).

· INSURANCE POLICIES – Maintain and search comparisons on policy renewals.

· FINANCIAL SERVICES - Liaise with Bank and credit card companies various service requirement

Qualifications

. Strong math skills with high accuracy in data entry.

· Software Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Excel and SAGE accounting systems.

· Detail: Ability to spot errors and reconcile complex records.

· Communication: Good verbal and written skills to deal with vendors, customers and staff across the globe.

· Education: A degree or coursework in finance, accounting, or business, plus relevant office experience.

· Disciplined

· Conscientious

· Able to work independently.

· Ability to work flexibly.

Good knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft office (365), outlook, PowerPoint, Excell etc
