Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Pub/Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for excellent service, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and maintain high standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate all aspects of pub/restaurant operations, including front-of-house and kitchen activities
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality standards are met
Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and supervise team members to optimise efficiency and service delivery
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the premises
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to minimise waste and control costs
Provide training and mentorship to staff, fostering a positive team environment with strong leadership
Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
Organise promotional events or special offers to attract new customers and retain existing clientele
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management with supervising experience in a fast-paced setting
Strong leadership qualities with excellent team management skills
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen operations
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations within the hospitality industry
Experience in serving, bar management, or barista roles is Essential
Ability to oversee food production processes while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with staff, suppliers, and customers
A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to adapt quickly in dynamic environments

This role is ideal for a motivated professional passionate about hospitality who thrives on leading teams and delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Pay: £15.00 per hour
