Internal Sales Support Executive

Job Title: Internal Sales Support Executive
Location: Lichfield City, Staffordshire
Employment Type: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, 8:45am - 5:30pm
Reports To: Managing Director

The Role

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive Internal Sales Support Executive to work closely with our sales team and help drive an exceptional customer experience. This is a pivotal role that combines sales administration, customer engagement, vendor management and commercial support.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing customer quotations for products, services and renewals.
Responding to customer queries and providing timely updates.
Supporting Account Managers with day-to-day sales activities.
Registering opportunities with vendors and distributors.
Liaising with suppliers to obtain pricing, availability and technical information.
Running and maintaining sales reports and pipeline information.
Assisting with the preparation of proposals and customer documentation.
Processing customer orders and managing them through the entire fulfilment process, ensuring successful delivery and customer satisfaction.
Monitoring order progress, resolving supplier or delivery issues, and proactively communicating updates to customers and the sales team.
Maintaining accurate customer and sales records within CRM systems.
Identifying suitable solutions and products to meet customer requirements.
Managing and prioritising multiple customer, supplier and sales support requests to ensure deadlines and service levels are consistently met.
General administrative support for the sales team.

What We're Looking For

Exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent time-management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple deadlines.
Strong communication skills and a professional customer-focused approach.
Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook.
A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
Confidence working with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
Comfortable working independently while remaining a collaborative team player.
Experience in sales support, administration, customer service or a related role is desirable.
Experience within the IT or technology sector would be advantageous.
