Farm Shop Assistant

Full-time | Daytime hours | Includes at least one day at the weekend

At Denstone Hall Farm Shop & Café, farming, food and family are at the heart of everything we do. From our home on the farm, we've created a place where people come to shop, eat and spend time together.

We're looking for a full-time Farm Shop Assistant to join our team. We trade seven days a week, so the role includes daytime shifts and at least one day at the weekend.

It's a busy, hands-on role where no two days are the same. If you enjoy working with customers, like being busy and don't mind rolling your sleeves up, you'll fit right in. A positive attitude, a willingness to learn and taking pride in doing a good job are far more important to us than having years of retail experience.

What you'll be doing

Deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service and help every customer have a great experience.
Be an ambassador for Denstone Hall and our products.
Keep the shop well stocked, presented and ready for trade.
Receive deliveries, replenish stock and help maintain availability.
Support opening and closing routines when required.
Work closely with the wider shop and café team to keep the day running smoothly.
Maintain high standards and use your initiative to get jobs done.

What we're looking for

A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
You take pride in your work and look for ways to help without being asked.
Someone who enjoys working in a busy environment.
A team player who is reliable and happy to help wherever needed.
Great customer service skills and confidence talking to people.
Retail or customer service experience is helpful, but attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
