Job Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a vibrant and efficient kitchen environment. In this role, you will support the culinary staff by assisting with food and meal preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced setting, making a positive impact on our guests’ experience every day.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with basic food preparation and cooking tasks as directed by chefs.
Prepare bar snacks.
Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients.
Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment.
Clean kitchen workstations, floors, and storage areas.
Set up and lay tables for service.
Clear and reset tables during and after service.
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
Follow food safety, health, and hygiene regulations at all times.
Support the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Skills

Previous experience in catering, restaurant, or food service environments is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly processes
Familiarity with kitchen safety standards and food hygiene practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
Basic understanding of serving procedures and customer service principles
Willingness to learn new culinary skills and adapt to evolving kitchen needs
