Full job description

We're looking for a confident, motivated Sales Development Representative / Cold Caller to join our growing sales team.

Your main role will be making outbound calls to businesses across the United States, speaking with business owners and decision-makers, and booking qualified appointments for our sales team.

This is a phone-heavy role, so we're looking for someone who isn't afraid to pick up the phone, start conversations and deal with rejection. You'll be given the systems, scripts and training you need — but we're looking for someone with the confidence, personality and drive to make them work.

Responsibilities

Make high-volume outbound calls to prospective businesses across the US
Speak directly with business owners and key decision-makers
Introduce our services and generate interest
Qualify potential clients using our sales process
Book qualified appointments and demos for our sales team
Follow proven scripts while keeping conversations natural
Handle common objections confidently
Follow up with prospects where required
Keep accurate records of calls, conversations and appointments within our CRM
Work towards daily and weekly call and appointment targets
Continually improve your sales, communication and objection-handling skills

What We're Looking For

Confident and comfortable speaking to people over the phone
Strong spoken English and communication skills
Motivated, competitive and target-driven
Able to deal with rejection and move quickly onto the next opportunity
Reliable with a strong work ethic
Comfortable working independently and as part of a sales team
Good basic computer skills and ability to use a CRM
Previous experience in cold calling, appointment setting, telesales or B2B sales is preferred but not essential

We're more interested in finding someone with the right personality, attitude and hunger to succeed than someone with the perfect CV.
