Mechanic – Job Description

Kith Cars is seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, experience using both power and hand tools, and a passion for delivering high-quality vehicle repairs and maintenance.

This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimum performance, reliability, and safety for our customers.

A Level 3 Motor Vehicle Qualification is required for this position.

Please note: This role includes a 1-month probationary period to assess performance, reliability, and suitability within the team.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify faults and mechanical issues.
Perform servicing, repairs, and maintenance on engines, brakes, suspension systems, transmissions, and other vehicle components.
Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
Carry out diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical problems efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of repairs completed and parts used.
Follow health and safety regulations and company procedures at all times.
Keep the workshop clean, organised, and professional.
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.

Requirements & Skills

Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (required).
Strong mechanical and diagnostic knowledge.
Experience using workshop equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and time management skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new repair techniques and technologies.
A full UK driving licence is preferred.

Pay: £17.00-£20.00 per hour
