Full job description

About us

Purpose Group is an independent, owner operated flex workspace business with around ten buildings across London. We own a majority of the buildings we run, so decisions get made quickly and you deal with the people who make them.

The role

You are the person our members deal with every day. You keep the building running, sort things out when they go wrong and make sure nothing gets dropped between teams.

What you will do

Members and front of house

First point of contact for everyone in the building
Deal with requests and complaints, and keep people updated when something is not resolved yet
Keep reception and communal areas presentable and on standard
Notice when a member is unhappy and flag it early
Run occasional member events, and send photos and updates to the marketing team

Onboarding, moves and space changes

Set new members up: access cards, keys, signage, induction, house rules
Coordinate moves, expansions and downsizes with the relevant teams
Handle exits and returns of keys and space

Day to day operations

Meeting room bookings, setup and billing information
Post, deliveries and couriers
Access control, visitor management and passes
Report faults to the FM team and chase them to completion
Report cleaning issues and check the work has been done properly

Keeping things moving

Chase other teams and suppliers so member issues actually close
Escalate anything that is stuck rather than letting it sit
Weekly update on open issues, member concerns and anything that needs a decision

About you

Experience in hospitality, front of house, retail, gym or workspace reception
Organised. You can hold thirty open items and drop none of them
Even tempered. A member having a bad day does not become your bad day
Persistent. Comfortable chasing people until something is done
Good written English
Practical, and happy to sort a small problem yourself rather than pass it on
