Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. The Breakfast Chef will work closely with the kitchen team to deliver efficient and timely service, maintaining strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook breakfast dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Ensure all food preparation meets safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen
Assist in menu planning and development for breakfast offerings
Manage ingredient stock levels, ensuring freshness and proper storage
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
Maintain organisation of workstations, ensuring all equipment is clean and in good working order
Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation, making adjustments as necessary
Adhere to health and safety policies at all times, including proper handling of food and equipment

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Experience in meal preparation, particularly breakfast dishes, is highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential for motivated candidates with relevant kitchen experience
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Serving experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential
