We are currently looking for Waking night Residential Workers to join our existing experienced team. An ideal candidate must be someone who genuinely enjoys working with young people, has resilience and shows commitment to helping shape the lives of young people in a positive direction.

The role involves:
Working with up teenagers with Emotional and Behavioural difficulties
Responsible for day-to-day care of the young people.

Person Attributes required:

To work with integrity and honesty
To maintain and maintain appropriate boundaries with the young people and colleagues
To show tolerance, compassion, warmth and empathy towards the young people
To provide a caring and supportive environment for children and young people who respect and affirm their racial, cultural and religious identities and lifestyles
To ensure the rights and needs of children and young people are as fully as possible this includes their spiritual, intellectual cultural and social needs.

Responsibilities:

Care planning and other statutory administrative duties
To be aware of the children's and young people's leisure and recreational needs and preferences within organisational policies and guidelines.
To communicate all concerns to the registered manager with regards to the children and young people's physical, psychological or emotional needs.
To be accountable for budgets allocated for specific purposes including distribution and recording whilst on shift.

Requirements:

Candidate must be able to work shifts including alternate weekends
All staff working in a residential setting must possess NVQ3 / QCF level 3 qualification or be willing to work towards the Children's workforce development pathway. Full training is provided.
You must hold a valid UK/EU driving licence (You do not need your own vehicle)
Please note we can not provide sponsorship visas

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £26,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
