<p><span><strong>EQUANS are looking for a Mobile Electrician for our Rochdale and Oldham Schools contract. The role itself will predominantly be based in Oldham. This role would be a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><strong>General Overview:</strong></span></p> <p><span>This is a role for a proven 18th edition qualified Electrician. Supported by a strong operational team, the focus is developing, maintaining and improving the Electrical systems across the four schools in the Oldham & Rochdale area, PFI estate. The contract involves GSHP, gas boilers and biomass as a means of supply of heat, electricity and cooling to the range of buildings. Knowledge of said systems is preferred, however this role is for general maintenance, small reactive and PPM electrical works day to day.</span></p> <p><span>In particular;</span></p> <p><span>•Demonstrate the ability to maintain plant and equipment to agreed specifications and operation</span></p> <p><span>•Develop an in-depth knowledge of the relevant individual contracts</span></p> <p><span>•Ensure paperwork is up to date and correctly completed</span></p> <p><span>•Ensure all jobs are closed down promptly</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><strong>Impact:</strong></span></p> <p><span>•Carry out the defined planned maintenance regime for all contractual obligations within the School Buildings..</span></p> <p><span>•Ensure Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) are in place.</span></p> <p><span>•Issuing of relative working permits.</span></p> <p><span>•Carry out repairs, reactive maintenance and minor installation works on plant.</span></p> <p><span>•Attend, diagnose and repair faults having due regard to customer care in this specific environment.</span></p> <p><span>•Carry out proactive plant monitoring activities to ensure efficient utilisation of plant and equipment</span></p> <p><span>•Interrogation of operational information systems to support daily operations as will as fault diagnosis</span></p> <p><span>•Complete the relevant paperwork and report diligently.</span></p> <p><span>•Any other relevant duties that may be required, some of which may be outside normal working hours.</span></p> <p><span>You will be expected to undertake any training necessary to ensure that you are able to undertake your duties effectively.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><strong>Complexity:</strong></span></p> <p><span>•Maintain all documentation and records to the highest standard</span></p> <p><span>•Understand the contracts and obligations</span></p> <p><span>•Project a professional image of Equans to external and internal customers, this is to include clear channels of communication</span></p> <p><span>•Other tasks as directed by Line Management</span></p> <p><span>•Operate in accordance with Best Practice, Equal Opportunities, recognise and value Diversity in the Workplace and demonstrate respect for others.</span></p> <p><span>•Place the highest importance upon Equans Health and Safety policies and procedures</span></p> <p><span>•Abide by Equans policies and procedures</span></p> <p><span>•Always represent Equans in a professional manner</span></p> <p><span> •Other duties as required</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><strong>Qualifications or Required Experience:</strong></span></p> <p><span>•18th Edition essential, C&G 2391 advantageous</span></p> <p><span>•Fault-finding and practical skills</span></p> <p><span>•Able to work unsupervised and function as part of a team</span></p> <p><span>•Very strong Excel and IT skills</span></p> <p><span>•Driving License essential</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><strong>What can we offer you?
