We are currently seeking a highly experienced, accomplished and guest-centric Assistant Restaurant Manager, to join our fine dining Strathearn team.
The on target earning potential for this role is £44,743 / per annum - comprising a base salary of £36,443, plus a qualified estimate of £8,300 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
- You’ll take pride in playing host to our guests and will lead the restaurant floor from the front, overseeing breakfast, Sunday lunch, and dinner service, while playing a support role to your fellow FB leaders
- Working closely with our Strathearn Manager, you’ll oversee ensure the day to day running of the department to meet standards service requirements of our fine dining Restaurant
- Leading the operational service delivery for the department with a visible presence on the floor, identifying responding to changing needs service priorities
- You’ll intuitively read the room, anticipating, and fulfilling the expectations of our guests; always warm, thoughtful, professional, and well groomed, playing your part in ensuring luxury service is our signature
- Engaging, motivating, and inspiring a strong and passionate team, you’ll ensure they consistently deliver exceptional service and are equally spell-bound by the magic and theatre of the experiences they create; you’ll be nurturing and developing talent ensuring that your passion and expertise are lived through others
- Developing strong relations with our Culinary team, you’ll work together to demonstrate that shared passion, clear communication, and living our values is what truly galvanises the team and drives excellence
- Working alongside the senior FB Management team to continue the evolution and sourcing of new options around equipment lines and submit options for review, providing feedback and signing off
- Understanding of Service Forbes, LQA standard, expectations process within your department proactively managing team performance
- You’ll be instilling a culture of continuous development and innovation, identifying new ways to surprise and delight your guests and your people
- Working alongside our Stratheaern manager to complete monthly PL analysis, identifying opportunities areas of risk
- Managing daily briefings with the service team, ensuring everyone is crystal clear on the priorities and their responsibilities ahead of each and every service
- Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

- You have fantastic experience within a similar role in a luxury environment, and your strive for incredible leadership is a strong as your technical expertise and passion for service
- You enjoy the theatre and stage, however you’re modest, understated and without ego; you care for others as much as you care for yourself and role model this consistently
- Energised and fuelled by a high paced operation and equally high expectations, you’re resilient, and skilled at managing multiple and often competing priorities
- You possess a positive, professional, and courteous attitude, always see a glass half-full, and are consistent in your mood, manner, and behaviour
- Intuitively, you put yourself in the shoes of others whether that be your guests or your people; no matter how many times an issue has been presented to you, you recognise that to this person it’s likely a first
