Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Aviation Security Officer, where your vigilance and dedication will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our airport environment. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safeguarding passengers, staff, and assets by implementing security protocols, conducting thorough inspections, and maintaining a secure atmosphere. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a safe travel experience for everyone. Duties

Monitor security checkpoints and conduct passenger and baggage screenings with precision and professionalism
Control access points by verifying identification and authorization documents for staff, visitors, and contractors
Conduct regular patrols of the airport premises, including restricted areas, to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
Respond swiftly to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
Maintain detailed records of security activities, incidents, and inspections using digital tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI
Analyze security data to identify patterns or vulnerabilities, utilizing analysis skills and IT tools like SQL for reporting purposes
Prepare comprehensive reports using Microsoft PowerPoint and other Office applications to communicate findings effectively to management

Skills

Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data from various sources for security insights
Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools for data management and reporting
Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with team members, passengers, and authorities
Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to coordinate team efforts during high-pressure situations
Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Solid understanding of IT systems related to security operations and surveillance technology
Outstanding interpersonal skills that foster clear communication and teamwork across diverse groups.
