The Role

Working alongside our experienced finishing team, you'll help prepare and finish our bespoke timber products to the exceptional standards our customers expect.

This is a hands-on role where you'll learn every stage of the finishing process, gaining valuable skills that can lead to becoming a fully qualified Paint Sprayer.

We're looking for someone with previous experience preparing or painting timber products. You don't need to be a fully experienced spray painter—we'll provide the training—but you should already understand the importance of achieving a high-quality finish on timber.

What You'll Be Doing

Preparing timber windows and doors ready for finishing.
De-nibbing and sanding components to achieve a flawless surface.
Cleaning and preparing products before painting.
Assisting with base coating and finishing operations.
Learning professional spray-painting techniques under experienced supervision.
Operating and maintaining paint shop equipment as your skills develop.
Learning to operate our specialist linear paint spraying machine.
Carrying out touch-up work where required.
Helping maintain a clean, organised and efficient paint shop.
Moving products safely through the finishing process.
Assisting with wrapping and preparing completed products for delivery.
Supporting other production departments when required.

You'll be someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in producing high-quality results and wants to continue developing your skills.

You'll ideally have:

Experience preparing, painting or finishing timber products.
Previous experience working within a joinery or manufacturing environment.
A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Great attention to detail.
Pride in producing exceptional workmanship.
Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude.
The ability to work well as part of a close-knit team.
Good spoken and written English.
