Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and customer service, looking to contribute to a dynamic logistics operation.

Duties

Safely operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to clients and distribution centres.
Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimise time and fuel consumption.
Load and unload items, ensuring they are secured properly during transit.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon receipt.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies.
Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries.
Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with commercial driving experience but not essential
Valid driving licence
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan routes effectively.
Good communication skills and a professional attitude when interacting with clients.
Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as loading and unloading goods.
A clean driving record is essential, along with the ability to pass background checks if required.

Pay: £125.00-£220.00 per day
