Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Location: Cheltenham (office based)

Hours: 8.30am to 5pm (1-hour lunch)

Salary: £26,500 - £28,500 per annum, OTE £30,000 - £32,000

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Sales Admin to join our Customer Service team in Cheltenham. This is a key role supporting our sales team with administration, customer relationship management, and soft sales follow-ups. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate customer records, following up on quotations, and supporting repeat business development with existing customers through professional and confident telephone communication.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is comfortable on the telephone and enjoys engaging with customers to make a real impact within a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities

Update and maintain customer sales records in the CRM system
Follow up on outstanding quotations and ensure timely responses to customer enquiries
Make proactive, professional telephone calls to existing customers to follow up quotations and generate repeat business
Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
Assist with sales administration tasks including processing customer orders
Handle customer enquiries via telephone, email, and other communication channels
Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues efficiently
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate and up-to-date customer information
Maintain a high level of organisation and attention to detail in all aspects of the role

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a sales administration or customer service role
Confident and professional telephone manner with the ability to build rapport with customers
Comfortable making soft sales calls to follow up quotations and encourage repeat business
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving and time management skills

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £26,500 - £28,500 per annum with On Target Earnings of £30,000 - £32,000 (based on team performance). Commission is earned through the success of the team, not individual targets.
