Dental Receptionist – Part-time

NUYU Dental and Aesthetics – Cheltenham
Permanent | Part-Time | Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday
Saturday 08:45–16:15 | Sunday 10:45–16:15 | Tuesday 08:45-18:00
Salary: £12.71 - £14.50 per hour (dependent on experience)

NUYU Dental and Aesthetics, a brand-new, modern dental practice opened recently in Cheltenham, is seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our team part time. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming experience for our patients and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk.

Key Duties:

Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently
Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries as needed
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the day
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management
Ensure the reception area is tidy and organised at all times

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a dental receptionist or administrative role is preferred
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
A friendly disposition with a customer-focused approach
Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated
Knowledge of dental terminology or experience in a dental setting is an advantage but not essential
