Full job description

Space Modern provides luxury designer Italian furniture with an interior design service for every part of the home from its over 10,000 sqft lifestyle showroom at Sky House Design Centre Amersham, Buckinghamshire HP6 6FT.

We are looking for a space Planning Interior Designer who has the eye for creating creative cutting edge designs at speed using computer software Sketchup and provide presentations in meetings by building furniture for bedrooms and living rooms for usually 5 bedroom luxury whole house projects. It is important you have the persuasive skills to communicate with Hi end customers, suppliers and team members. You will need to have previous experience either working in a furniture or kitchen showroom, interior design practice or similar customer facing role and working knowledge of Autocad and Sketchup is an essential requirement of the role.

To be considered as a candidate, you must meet the following criteria:

Excellent Communication Skills.

Positive, proactive can do attitude.

Interior Design/Furniture Experience - Highly Desire.

Competent in Auto CAD and 3D design ie Sketch up.

Photoshop or illustrator.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Time management skills to meet project deadlines
