EWI Store is a growing business within the construction and building materials sector, specialising in external wall insulation, render, façade and installation products. Since 2011, we have supported installers, contractors, homeowners, developers and trade professionals across the UK through quality products, technical expertise and strong customer service.
We are now looking for a commercially focused Senior Marketing Executive – Trade, CRM & Communications to support our marketing activity across multiple brands, digital channels and four branch locations.
The Role
This is a hands-on role ideal for a practical and proactive marketer with experience in trade, B2B, branch-based, construction, merchanting, manufacturing or similar environments.
You will work closely with the Head of Marketing to deliver campaigns that increase trade engagement, support product sales, improve customer retention, drive branch footfall and strengthen the EWI Store brand.
The role combines trade marketing, CRM, email campaigns, content creation, social media, branch activation, product marketing and campaign reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Create trade marketing materials including installer packs, welcome packs, flyers, brochures and sales collateral.
- Support campaigns for installers, contractors, architects, developers and trade customers.
- Help plan and deliver trade days, supplier events, training sessions, product launches and seasonal promotions.
- Work with branch teams to support local marketing activity, offers, branch content and customer engagement.
- Plan and send email newsletters and CRM campaigns for segmented customer groups.
- Support customer retention, dormant account reactivation and trade loyalty activity.
- Manage day-to-day social media content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and other relevant channels.
- Support short-form video, YouTube scheduling, product explainers, installation tips and customer stories.
- Write clear and engaging copy for emails, social posts, website updates, campaign assets and internal communications.
- Track campaign performance, including engagement, leads, branch activity, CRM impact and sales contribution.
- Support SEO-focused content, product pages and digital customer journeys.
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Branch Managers, Customer Service, Technical, Product and Operations teams.
- Ensure all marketing activity is consistent, on brand and commercially aligned.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in a Marketing Executive or Senior Marketing Executive role.
- Experience in B2B, trade marketing, construction, building materials, retail branches, merchanting, manufacturing, distribution or a similar sector.
- Experience delivering campaigns across online and offline channels.
- Confident writing content for email, social media, brochures, websites and customer communications.
- Experience with CRM campaigns, email marketing and customer segmentation.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to link marketing activity to leads, sales, engagement and customer retention.
- Good attention to detail and strong brand consistency.
- Confident working with sales teams, branch teams and external suppliers.
- Comfortable using marketing data and reports to measure performance.
Desirable
- Experience in construction, insulation, render, façade, building products or trade merchant sectors.
- Knowledge of platforms such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Shopify, WooCommerce, Pimcore or similar.
- Understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, paid social or Google Ads.
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools.
- Experience supporting trade events, supplier campaigns or product launches.
- Familiarity with AI tools for content creation, reporting or campaign planning.
