Full job description

Job Opportunity – Workshop Engineer required at our Bristol depot.

Working hours 7 am - 4.30 pm

Broughton Plant Hire & Sales is looking to recruit a full-time permanent person to work in our workshop to help service and maintain tool hire equipment like press fitting, Ridgid Threading machines, drills and grinders.

Main duties and responsibilities

Ensure hire fleet is maintained and repaired to ensure hire equipment is fit for purpose and available for hire
Carrying out Pre and Post delivery inspections
Identify and document any faults or defects found during testing
Maintain accurate records of all testing activities
Work within the Health & Safety policy of the company to ensure safe working practices

Key job requirements

Experience in small tools repairs
Plant Hire experience desired but not essential
Hard working and physically fit due to the nature of the equipment
Ability to work as part of a team
A can-do attitude with strong work ethic
Hard working, punctual, flexible and self motivated.
