Full job description

Location: Richmond
Type: Contract
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Per Annum

Orka Financial is working with a well established business based in Richmond, who are looking to bring an experienced Credit Controller on board as soon as possible on a fixed-term basis.

Responsibilities

Managing and monitoring customer credit limits and risk exposure
Conducting credit checks and setting up new customer accounts
Producing and reviewing aged debtor reports (30/60/90+ days)
Proactively chasing overdue invoices via phone, email, and written communication
Building and maintaining strong client relationships to encourage timely payments
Negotiating payment plans and resolving outstanding balances
Investigating and resolving invoice queries or disputes efficiently.

Requirements

Previous experience in credit control and collections
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet deadlines
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
Confident handling difficult conversations with customers.
