Full job description

Positions Available:

We have a day carer position available for 5 shifts per week i.e. 35 hours. Our shift times are 7.00am to 2.00pm and 2.00pm to 9.00pm.
We have a night carer position available for 3 shifts per week i.e. 30 hours. Our shift times are 9.00pm to 7.00am.

Woodlands Gate Rest Home is a family-owned residential care home located in Pedmore, Stourbridge. We are passionate about providing exceptional care and support services to our older residents, including those with dementia.

Responsibilities:

Provide care and support to residents.
Assist with personal care tasks, including toileting and grooming.
Respond promptly to residents' calls for assistance.
Maintain a safe and secure environment.
Maintain accurate records of care provided.
Collaborate with the care team to ensure residents' needs are met.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a care or support role.
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable).
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends.
Enhanced DBS clearance.
