The Chelsea Harbour Hotel is looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor. The purpose of this role is to assist in the daily running of the F&B department, ensuring that all M&C procedures and targets are met.

Key responsibilities as a Food & Beverage Supervisor:

Supervise the daily operation of restaurant, bar, room service, and event service areas.
Ensure smooth and efficient service delivery across all F&B outlets such as bar, restaurant and room service.
Lead, motivate, and support the Food & Beverage team to maintain exceptional guest satisfaction.
Welcome and engage with guests in a warm, professional, and courteous manner.
Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Assist with the coordination and execution of private events, banqueting, and special functions.
Monitor staffing levels and support rota planning to ensure operational coverage Support onboarding and training of new team members.
Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene in line with HACCP regulations.
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health & safety procedures, and brand standards.
Assist with stock control, inventory management, and minimising wastage.
Support accurate billing, cash handling, and payment procedures, including use of MICROS systems.
Work closely with the kitchen and other departments to ensure seamless communication and service.
Respond calmly and effectively to operational challenges and emergency situations.

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, the essential skills required:

Minimum 3 years’ experience within Food & Beverage operations, preferably within hotels or luxury hospitality
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Experience with POS systems, ideally MICROS Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Strong knowledge of food & beverage service standards and health & safety regulations A positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
Physical demands such as being on the feet for long periods of time and manual handling
