As we prepare for CQC registration and business growth, we are seeking an experienced Registered Manager who shares our vision and wants to play a key leadership role in building an outstanding organisation from the ground up.

Purpose of the Role

The Registered Manager will provide professional leadership during the company’s mobilisation phase, oversee regulatory compliance, support the CQC registration process and help establish robust governance systems ready for operational launch.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the organisation through the CQC registration process.
Act as the proposed Registered Manager for regulated activities.
Ensure compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards and relevant legislation.
Develop and maintain policies, procedures and governance systems.
Support recruitment, onboarding and supervision of staff.
Establish quality assurance, auditing and risk management processes.
Prepare the organisation for inspections.
Support commissioners, local authorities and external stakeholders.
Promote a positive culture focused on person-centred care, safeguarding and continuous improvement.
Provide strategic advice to the Directors during the mobilisation phase.

Essential Requirements

Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Registered Manager within adult social care.
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and Fundamental Standards.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Experience developing policies and quality assurance systems.
Right to work in the UK.

Desirable

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards).
Experience with supported living services.
Experience preparing organisations for CQC inspections.

Working Hours

Initially, the role will require 16 hours per calendar month (approximately four hours per week). Hours will increase as the company grows and regulated services commence.

Pay: £28.00-£35.00 per hour

Education:

A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

Adult Social Care: 3 years (required)
Management/Leadership: 2 years (required)
Registered Manager experience (preferred): 3 years (required)
Knowledge of CQC regulations: 2 years (required)
