Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and overseeing daily sales operations for the Majestic Hotel cardiff. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with strong leadership and organisational skills to contribute to our organisation’s success. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping our sales initiatives and ensuring the team meets its targets.

Duties

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve organisational goals.
Lead, motivate, and supervise the sales team, fostering a high-performance environment.
Manage key client accounts and build long-term relationships to maximise customer satisfaction.
Oversee merchandising activities to ensure product presentation aligns with brand standards.
Organise and conduct regular training sessions for staff on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and budgets for senior management review.
Ensure excellent phone etiquette when engaging with clients and prospects.
Coordinate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns that support sales objectives.
Manage administrative tasks related to sales operations, including scheduling meetings and maintaining records.

Qualifications

Proven management experience within retail or sales environments, with a focus on team supervision.
Demonstrable experience in sales management, including developing strategies and achieving targets.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and guide teams effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience in merchandising, organisational skills, and time management are essential for success in this role.
Previous retail management experience is preferred but not mandatory if accompanied by strong leadership credentials.
Administrative experience with proficiency in organising schedules, reports, and documentation.
Exceptional phone etiquette coupled with organisational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
