GRILL COOK / GRILL CHEF – TAKA TAKA (BRISTOL) Join One of the UK’s Fastest-Growing Greek Street Food Brands

ABOUT TAKA TAKA

Taka Taka is a fast-growing Greek street food brand known for bold flavours, fresh ingredients, and high-energy service. We specialise in authentic-style gyros, grilled meats, souvlaki, and Mediterranean street food favourites.

We’re expanding — and we’re now looking for a skilled and motivated Grill Cook / Grill Chef to join our Bristol team.

THE ROLE

As a Grill Cook, you will be at the heart of the kitchen, responsible for delivering perfectly cooked grilled items consistently, quickly, and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities:

Cooking and preparing grilled meats (chicken, lamb, pork, etc.)
Ensuring food is cooked to correct temperatures and quality standards
Working efficiently in a fast-paced service environment
Preparing and managing mise en place for service
Supporting general kitchen prep and operations
Maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards
Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone with strong kitchen skills and a passion for food quality.

Essential:

Minimum 1 year experience in grill cooking OR kitchen/food prep experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good understanding of food hygiene and safety
Team player with a strong work ethic
Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail

Desirable:

Experience in grill, BBQ, or Mediterranean cuisine
Previous work in quick service restaurants or busy kitchens
Knife skills and food prep experience

Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
