Job Title: Sales Representative (Renewable Energy)
Location: Oxford
Department: Sales
Reports to: Sales Director
Salary: Negotiated, depending on experience (>= £28,000 )
Benefits: Bonus scheme, company pension

About the Role

We’re looking for a confident and motivated Sales Representative to join our team at Westech Solar. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, spotting new business opportunities, and delivering excellent service. You’ll play a key role in helping our customers find the right solar solutions backed by innovative products and a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
Manage a pipeline of prospects and follow up consistently to close deals.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
Clearly explain the benefits of our solar products and services.
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Understand client needs and recommend suitable solutions.
Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the sales journey.
Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Market Awareness

Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
Share customer insights with management to help shape future strategy.
Stay up to date with industry developments, particularly in the renewables space.

Reporting and Admin

Keep accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and deals using our CRM system.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and service for clients.

What We’re Looking For

Required

Previous experience in a sales role (B2B preferred).
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident presenting technical information in an accessible way.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Self-motivated with good time management and organisational skills.
Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office tools.
Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry.
Knowledge of the UK solar market and customer base.
Comfortable using data and sales metrics to drive performance.
