Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Operative to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring smooth and efficient food production processes, adhering strictly to food safety standards and quality control protocols. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will help maintain high operational standards, contributing to the delivery of safe, quality products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant team committed to excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Operate various machinery and equipment used in food production, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance
Follow strict HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) procedures to maintain food safety throughout the production process
Assist with the preparation, packaging, and labeling of food products according to specified standards
Conduct routine quality checks and monitor production lines for consistency, cleanliness, and safety
Maintain accurate records of production activities, including batch numbers, quantities, and inspection results
Perform basic math calculations for measurements, ingredient quantities, and quality assessments
Report any mechanical issues or deviations from standard procedures promptly to supervisors for resolution

Experience

Prior experience in food production or manufacturing environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations is highly desirable
Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues effectively
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during daily operations
