Prestige Used Car Mechanic – Land Rover Specialist | Oakdene Collection

Location: Alfreton, Derbyshire.
Hours: Full-time, permanent

We’re Oakdene Collection, one of the UK’s fastest-growing prestige used car specialists. We sell over 150 top-end cars a month, we’re doubling our stock, and our workshop is scaling fast. We’re not a PLC. There’s no middle manager breathing down your neck. No clipboard warriors. No endless “process meetings.” We trust you to crack on, do your job properly, and be part of a proper team.

What you’ll be doing:

No two days are the same here. One day you might be:

Carrying out PDI and service work on a Range Rover or Porsche.
Swapping a diff on a BMW M4, swapping a turbo or fitting suspension arms on a Range Rover.
Diagnosing electrical issues with our top-level Land Rover diagnostics kit.
Fitting a front splitter for a photo shoot or prepping a car for handover.
Doing tyres, brakes, transfer boxes, suspension pumps – and everything in between.

We cover everything from fast-paced turnaround work to more complex mechanical jobs. If you’re a capable tech, you’ll love the variety.

Who we’re looking for:

We’re building a team of genuinely top-drawer mechanics – no egos, no drama. The ideal person is:

Very experienced with a strong background in mechanical work (Land Rover experience is a big bonus).
Capable of working quickly, efficiently, and to a high standard without being babysat.
Honest, reliable, and thorough – no corner-cutters here.
A genuine team player who just wants to get stuck in and be part of something special.
