Full job description

We have a new opportunity for a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our well-resourced nursery working with either the children aged 0-3 years or 3-5 years, depending on experience.

As you will hopefully know already, this is more than a childcare role — it’s about building secure attachments, building relationships with parents, understanding each child’s individual needs, and creating a calm, caring environment where every child feels safe, valued, and truly seen.

What you’ll be doing

Acting as a key person for a group of children
Building strong, responsive relationships with children and their families
Supporting daily routines such as feeding, sleep, and transitions with sensitivity and care
Planning simple, meaningful experiences based on children’s interests and developmental needs
Creating a nurturing environment that promotes curiosity, confidence, and emotional security
Working closely with parents to ensure continuity of care and open communication

What we’re looking for

A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (required)
Previous experience working with children under 5 years old (required)
A genuine passion for Early Years
Understanding of child development, attachment, and safeguarding
