Interview Date: Wednesday, 24th June 2026

We currently have two exciting opportunities to join our friendly and growing team at Planners Services & Sundries Ltd.

This role is ideal for someone who is organised, enthusiastic, and looking to gain valuable office experience within a supportive and fast-paced environment. You will play an important role in supporting our Sales and Purchasing teams by processing orders, handling customer enquiries, and assisting with a variety of office-based tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Processing sales orders received via email and inbound telephone calls (*_no cold calling involved_*)
Supporting the Sales and Purchasing teams with day-to-day operations
Answering and screening incoming calls professionally
Managing and responding to emails
Updating and maintaining customer databases and contact records
Booking couriers and taxis as required
Processing external orders for delivery by our team
Maintaining filing systems and ensuring a tidy and organised office environment
Assisting with general office duties and administrative support tasks

Training and Development

As part of this role, you will gain valuable knowledge and experience in:

Sales order processing
Raising purchase orders with suppliers
Invoicing procedures
Understanding the flooring industry
Customer service and office administration
Business operations and team support functions

About You

We are looking for candidates who are:

Highly organised and detail-oriented
Friendly, professional, and helpful
Reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated
Flexible and able to prioritise changing workloads
Strong communicators with excellent written and verbal English skills
Confident using computers and Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
Able to work effectively as part of a team in a busy office environment

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 / 07:30 - 17:30
